Haven’t wanted to jinks myself, so I haven’t posted about the multitude of interviews that I have been on lately with a certain company. Current status is, barring an issue with background checks, I should start my new position on May 29th!
I’m not expecting any problems with the background check, but I won’t get excited until I get an offer letter. The job pays about 20% more than my old position, but I will have to commute into DC, which is a negative. All I can say right now is if this goes right I will be working in the entertainment/music industry. If it goes wrong? Well, I will get back up, dust off my clothes and keep on trying.
To all those who are frustrated with the job hunting experience, keep your head up, the right position will materialize eventually.
Waiting for my professor to grade my final is so painful. All the other professors have done what they need to do, but this one is taking way to long to let me know my status.
Ho hum, I will have patience for a little longer.
ChocolatRouge, chocolate flavored red wine. Surprisingly tasty, never thought I might like this stuff. Someone gave me a bottle, so I was obliged to give it a whirl. Definite recommendation if you like chocolate and red wine.
Avengers was worth staying up until 3:30AM for, that movie was beyond amazing. Now I have to wait another month for Prometheus to come out.
In the theater an hour and a half early waiting for the midnight showing of Avengers to start. People are here in actual costumes. Will see if the movie was worth the wait or not.
